Senior Full Stack AI Engineer
We’re looking for a senior software engineer who builds full-stack products end to end and brings hands-on experience integrating AI, including LLM APIs and RAG, into real applications. You’ll take technical ownership of projects from planning through delivery, work across our stack (Node.js, React, TypeScript, Python, SQL/NoSQL), and mentor other engineers along the way.
Responsibilities:
- Own projects end-to-end: scope, plan, execute and deliver full-stack features and AI-powered capabilities on schedule.
- Work directly with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, React, TypeScript, Python and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Integrate LLMs into product features: call LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar), build agentic workflows, and implement RAG pipelines.
- Make architecture and technical design decisions, and own code quality across your projects.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Support technical hiring: conduct interviews and evaluate candidates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Skills:
- Practical experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Python. Comfortable working across a full-stack, multi-language environment.
- SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar) into production applications.
- Experience with RAG pipelines (retrieval-augmented generation) and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector or similar).
- Familiarity with LLMOps: prompt versioning, monitoring/observability, cost and latency optimization, evaluation pipelines.
- Experience writing automated tests (unit and integration).
- Comfortable working in Linux environments.
- Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading a project or feature end-to-end.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP or Azure).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (cloud, AI/ML) are a plus.
Bonus:
- Experience building agentic AI workflows: tool-calling, multi-step agents, orchestration (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom implementations).
- Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Experience evaluating LLM outputs or model performance.
- Prior experience in a software services/consulting environment.
